In 1902 plans were made for a new Baptist church in Stoke Road. The foundation stone was laid in 1909 and the new building was opened in March 1910.
After a number of years discussing and seeking to redevelop the Stoke Road site and building, the decision was taken in 2011 to move from the site.
The building was bought by developers and converted into 8 bespoke flats with the first residents moving in in 2017. All the flats are currently occupied and in the summer of 2019 the lease was purchased by the residents and the Vestry8 Ltd was created to run the building.

All Vestry residents are shareholders in The Vestry8 Ltd, if you purchase a flat in the Vestry you will become a shareholder.
Maintenance fees are based on the size of the flat and are paid monthly (before the 10th ) by standing order into the Vestry8 Business account. At present The Vesrty8 Ltd is run by myself (Dave Bell) and (Chris Clarke) as we are the Directors of the Company, any major decisions will be put to all residents.
